What We Offer
At Milestone Makers Pediatric Therapy, we provide personalized, evidence-based speech and feeding therapy for children in the comfort of their everyday environments. As a mobile practice, we bring therapy directly to your home, daycare, preschool, or other community setting, making services convenient for families while supporting skills where children use them most.
We offer comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized speech and language therapy, and pediatric feeding therapy. Every treatment plan is tailored to your child's unique strengths, needs, and goals, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with families to help children build confidence and achieve meaningful progress.
-
Children develop speech sounds at different rates, but some may have difficulty producing certain sounds or speaking clearly enough to be understood. We provide individualized, play-based therapy to help children improve their speech sound production, increase overall speech clarity, and build confidence when communicating at home, school, and in the community.
-
Some children know exactly what they want to say but have difficulty coordinating the movements of their lips, tongue, jaw, and breath to produce speech. Using evidence-based, PROMPT -informed techniques when appropriate, we help children improve motor planning, speech coordination, and intelligibility through individualized treatment tailored to their unique needs.
-
Feeding challenges can impact a child's nutrition, growth, and family mealtimes. We provide comprehensive assessment and therapy for children experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding or bottle feeding, chewing, drinking, transitioning to new foods, picky eating, food aversions, oral motor coordination, and feeding skill development.
We also evaluate how tethered oral tissues (tongue ties, lip ties, and buccal ties) may be affecting feeding, swallowing, and oral function. When appropriate, we collaborate with your child's healthcare team—including pediatricians, lactation consultants, dentists, ENTs, and other specialists—to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.
-
We celebrate and support each child's unique way of communicating, learning, and interacting with the world. Our therapy is neurodiversity-affirming, meaning we focus on building meaningful communication, participation, and independence while respecting each child's strengths, sensory preferences, and individual differences. We partner with families to develop goals that support the child's quality of life rather than encouraging them to mask who they are.
-
AAC includes communication methods that support individuals who have difficulty speaking or are not yet using verbal speech consistently. This may include picture communication systems, speech-generating devices, communication apps, or simple visual supports. We assess each child's communication needs, recommend appropriate AAC options, and provide training for families and caregivers so children can communicate effectively across all environments.
